Water pressure may fall as water mains replaced

Paul Williamson, director of public affairs for the City of St Augustine, informed Historic City News local reporters that as new water mains are installed over the next two months as part of Riberia Street Phase 2 Project, residents in the area would likely see intermittent low water pressure.

The affected area will be along Riberia Street between Bridge Street and Cerro Street.

“In the event of water outages, the Public Works Department will work diligently to notify customers prior to such outages,” according to Williamson. “The city appreciates customers’ patience and cooperation as this important project continues.”
