400-KIRK-WENDLANDHistoric City News is pleased to report that St Johns County is the 5th best county on the “Best places to live, where the jobs are” list published by CNNMoney on Monday, August 12.

The job growth percentage in St Johns County from 2010 – 2012 is 12.1%. Columbia County, Georgia, Rockwall County, Texas, Falls Church, Virginia and Guadalupe County, Texas were the only other United States counties to rank higher.

“It is great to receive recognition as one of the most successful job building counties in the nation,” said Kirk Wendland, St Johns County Chamber of Commerce president. “Our talented workforce, a cooperative economic development effort, and a great product are just a few of the reasons St Johns County is having noteworthy success.”

Citing St Johns County’s highly educated workforce, healthiest county ranking, number one public education ranking and gorgeous year-round weather CNNMoney contributor Maya Payne Smart stated, “No wonder highly educated talent is being wooed there in droves.”
