St. Augustine resident and tradesman Dan Famiglietti announced to Historic City News today that, during late Spring 2013, his locally inspired paintings will be featured in the Rotunda Gallery; located in the St. Johns County administration palace.
According to an Kathe O’Donnelly, assistant director for the St Johns Cultural Council, Famiglietti’s show, titled “Water Lines”, is inspired by the coastal waters in the area and features fish, turtles, alligators, waves, birds, and other local inspirations; produced using vibrant colors and bold lines.
Historic City News readers are invited to attend the opening reception on Tuesday May 7th, 2013 from 8:15 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. just before the meeting of the St Johns County Board of Commissioners.
All are invited to enjoy refreshments while viewing the show and meeting the artist.
The show will run from May 7th until July 25th weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Dan Famiglietti lives and works in St Johns County, Florida. He is a graduate of Flagler College (2000) with degrees in Graphic Arts and Fine Arts. Originally from the Philadelphia Metropolitan area, his work has been seen in various publications and been featured in restaurants, logos, ads, and posters. His work has been shown at several juried art shows from here to New Jersey.
