Editorial: Free exercise of religion

ACROSS-MG-DESKCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

To me, this means that, while the government cannot compel me to worship as I see fit, or not at all; they cannot prohibit me from freely exercising that right, if I so choose.

Likewise, as I read the Bill of Rights, if my teenage son or daughter chooses to take inspiration from the word of God — who is my government to prohibit them?
