Monica Reifeiss reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Downtown St. Augustine: Daytime road and lane closures 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 9). Police will direct traffic around closures at the Bridge of Lions, King Street, Avenida Menendez, San Marco Avenue, W. Castillo Drive, Cordova Street, Orange Street and Riberia Street. The State Road 312 bridge may be used as an alternate route to and from Anastasia Island during the parade.
Daytime lane closures on Cathedral Street while AT&T works near the Matanzas River. This lane closure may affect traffic west of the Bridge of Lions. For additional information, please contact Marty Adams, TB Landmark Construction, Inc., at (904) 751-1016.
Interstate 95: Daytime northbound lane closures 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from International Golf Parkway to County Road 210 for shoulder repairs.
State Road 13: Daytime lane closures in both directions 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Daytime weekday southbound lane closures 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and northbound lane closures 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cunningham Creek Bridge for road repair.
Possible daytime lane closures while a new roundabout is constructed just north of Riverwalk Boulevard. The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph in the construction zone and to 25 mph through the roundabout. State Road 16: Daytime lane closures 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction and roadway widening operations.
Daytime lane closures of the right westbound turn lane onto Lewis Speedway for driveway construction.
State Road 206: No daytime lane closures are planned over the Crescent Beach Bridge in preparation for possible additional traffic due to Bike Week.
State Road 207: Daytime lane closures 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Lightsey Road to I-95 for sidewalk repairs.
State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Vilano Beach to Mickler Road for cleaning the bike path.
Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between Mickler Road and Fairfield Boulevard for paving operations and constructing five-foot shoulders.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez.
US 1: Daytime northbound lane closures Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. just north of Pine Island Road in the Nocatee area to replace a drainage culvert.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to the Duval County line.
