Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Interstate 95: Daytime northbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from County Road 210 to the Duval County line for shoulder repairs.
State Road 16: Daytime lane closures and turn lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction, installation of detectable warning surfaces on sidewalk ramps and roadway widening.
State Road 206: The Crescent Beach Bridge is scheduled to be totally closed beginning tonight at 7:30 p.m. until Monday at 5:30 a.m. for work on the drawbridge. Traffic is detoured to State Road 312 during the closure. Daytime lane closures are also possible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
State Road 207: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from I-95 to Wildwood Drive for tree trimming.
State Road A1A: Daytime northbound lane closures from Pope Road to half a mile south for driveway access construction for a new convenience store. For additional information, contact Troy Credeur, DNS Contracting, at 904-724-6005 or 904-588-8586.
Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between Mickler Road and Fairfield Boulevard in Ponte Vedra for miscellaneous work to complete the project.
