Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
State Road 16: Daytime lane closures and turn lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction, installation of detectable warning surfaces on sidewalk ramps and roadway widening.
State Road 206: Due to an unfavorable weather forecast, the Crescent Beach Bridge will not be completely closed the weekend of May 3-6. However, a full bridge closure is scheduled the weekend of May 10-13. Also, daytime lane closures are possible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
State Road A1A: Daytime northbound lane closures from Pope Road to half a mile south for driveway construction for a new convenience store. For additional information, contact Troy Credeur, DNS Contracting, at 904-724-6005 or 904-588-8586.
