FDOT road repairs and maintenance report

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Downtown St. Augustine: Daytime sidewalk closure over the Bridge of Lions while crews work on handrail.

Also, nighttime lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday over the Bridge of Lions while the City of St. Augustine removes temporary lighting from the bridge.

State Road 16: Daytime lane closures and turn lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction, installation of detectable warning surfaces on sidewalk ramps and roadway resurfacing.

Also, nighttime lane closures from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for paving and for sidewalk and drainage repairs.

State Road 206: Daytime lane closures over the Crescent Beach Bridge from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No total bridge closures with detours are scheduled until after Labor Day (September).

State Road 207: Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from I-95 to U.S. 1.

Also, daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from U.S. 17 in East Palatka to the St. Johns County line.

May Street (State Road A1A): Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from San Marco Avenue to the Usina Bridge for trimming and clearing along the sidewalk.

State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the North Beach parking lot in Ponte Vedra to Mickler Road for tree trimming and cleaning the bike lane.

Also, daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Old Quarry Road to State Road 312 in St. Augustine for trimming and clearing along the sidewalk.

Also, daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez.

U.S. 1: Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from International Golf Parkway to Pine Island Road in St. Augustine for shoulder repairs.

Also, daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Datil Pepper Road to Moses Creek Boulevard for cleaning ditches.

Also, daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from State Road 207 to State Road 16.
