Historic City News received word last week that Kim Ragland Wheeler has recently been appointed the newest member of the Flagler College Board of Trustees.
Wheeler, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, is vice president of the Wheeler Benefit Foundation and has a long history of service accomplishments. She previously served as political director for Equitable Life Assurance and public affairs director for the American Film Institute in Washington, D.C.
Presently, Wheeler serves on the boards of the Virginia Aquarium and the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. She and her husband, Jon, are the chairs of the Parent Leadership Council at Flagler College, where their son will earn his degree in Sport Management this month.
Wheeler is a 1982 graduate of University of Georgia, where she earned her bachelor of arts in internal and public communications.
