La Folia makes St Augustine first tour stop

Historic City News readers are invited to attend on July 9th when the internationally renowned Spanish musical group, La Folia, will launch its 2013 American tour; performing with original instruments from the period of Spanish colonization.

The acoustically renowned St Augustine Cathedral Basilica was selected for the first-of-four performances in the United States.

There is no admission charged to attend the concert, featuring baroque music from the time of the discovery of Florida in 1513; however, seating is available to the public on a first-come first-served basis.

The performance will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, July 9th.
