St Augustine High School graduate, Kevin Doyle, President of Florida-based government affairs firm, Wexford Strategies, announced to Historic City News the Grand Opening of the firm’s third office location. Tallahassee, Florida will soon join the public affairs, strategic business development, and government relations firm, whose offices are currently located in Jacksonville and Washington, DC.
After January, Wexford Strategies clients who come to Tallahassee, either for legislative or other state government business, will have access to the office and conference room facilities which are located within two blocks of the Florida Capitol.
“Whether a client needs representation in front of the US Congress or the Florida Legislature, we can help them if they are trying to advance a cause or issue, looking to rebrand, or to be introduced to the community,” said Doyle. “Wexford Strategies is flexible with our contracts and can work within most budgets.”
After graduation from St Augustine High School, Doyle went on to earn his degree from the University of North Florida. His professional experience includes federal, state, local and international levels of government and politics.
Doyle has worked for two US Senators; he was state director for Senator Mel Martinez and administrative director for Joint Economic Committee Chairman and Florida Senator, Connie Mack.
While in Washington, DC, Doyle was employed at the Office of Presidential Personnel in the White House under President George W. Bush, and for the US Department of Labor serving as the deputy director for the Office of the 21st Century Workforce.
Doyle also worked for the Florida Speaker of the House of Representatives in Tallahassee as well as international political organizations in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
He currently serves as executive director for the Consumer Energy Alliance of Florida and was he was recently appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for Workforce Florida.
Doyle reports that his firm is focused on Florida-based companies; and other organizations that require advocacy assistance, or who need assistance in maneuvering the maze that is the state and federal government — either in Tallahassee, Washington, DC, or both.
