Historic City News readers are invited to attend a free performance of the Justin Vargas Jr story, “The Gift” — an unpredictable Christmas saga that takes the audience on a zany adventure with a spunky angel named Clarence.
When Clarence is disciplined by his boss, Gabriel, he loses one of his wings; but, during this heartwarming production, Gabriel sends Clarence on a mission to regain his wing by helping a woman bereft of her husband and child.
“The audience will be taken on an unconventional, but spot-on, journey into the real meaning of Christmas,” said Terry Herbert. “A state of the art sound system, complete with strobes and lights, will make this production an unexpected highlight of the Christmas season — for you, and your whole family.”
Enjoy the live stage performance interspersed with music of all kinds, including “Where Are You Christmas?”, the Latino “Everybody Do That Conga” and MC Hammer’s “You Can’t Touch This”.
The shows will be staged at “Greater Love Ministries” located at 555 SR-16 in St Augustine. The first performance will be at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, December 21st. The second performance will be at 10:30 a.m. the following morning, Sunday December 22nd.
