Wil Smith, Director of St Johns County Recreation and Parks Department, has invited all Historic City News readers to their annual Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28.
As in past years, children, ages eight and younger, can enjoy hunting vibrant colored, candy-filled Easter eggs.
“Remember to bring your Easter basket to hold all the tasty treats,” Smith told reporters. “And, be ready with your camera for a special appearance by the Easter Bunny just before the hunt at 10:15 a.m.”
Families can enjoy the festivities at three local parks:
• Treaty Park, 1595 Wildwood Drive, St Augustine
• Veterans Park, 1332 Veterans Parkway, St Johns
• Al Wilkie Park, 6140 Main Street, Hastings
All participants are assured to leave with a special gift from the Easter Bunny.
