Paul Livingston, Director, Northeast Florida Fair Tax will address the open meeting of the Saint Augustine Tea Party on Tuesday, June 25, and all taxpayers are invited to attend, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.
The Fair Tax movement has been growing in popularity with many tax payers for the last dozen years.
“If there ever was a time to put a nail in the coffin of the IRS, it’s now,” said Lance Thate, Chairman of the Saint Augustine Tea Party. “The Tea Party movement all around the United States has been attacked by the IRS. It is time to fight back and get rid of this monster.”
The Fair Tax is popular with the people, but not with the politicians of both major parties, according to Thate. “They live off the tax loop-holes that don’t apply to you and me.”
Make plans now to attend this presentation Tuesday the 25th beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine. There is no charge to attend; coffee, tea, pie and full menu service available for purchase before, during and after the meeting.
