Tomorrow, Historic City News readers are reminded that the National Association of Letter Carriers, working with the US Postal Service, and the United Way of St Johns County, will be collecting non-perishable food as part of the annual Letter Carriers “Stamp out Hunger” food drive.
Saturday’s collections will be distributed among 15 local area food banks, shelters and other agencies in St Johns County.
Letter carriers will pick up and deliver the donations to the appropriate facility.
There are opportunities to volunteer during this local effort of the larger Stamp out Hunger nationwide campaign. For more info or to volunteer, call (904) 829-9721 or (904) 285-2606.
