Laura Stevenson Dumas reported to Historic City News that due to popular demand, the this evening’s screening of the classic 1964 episode of the television series Route 66, has been moved to Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College.
The 7:00 p.m. event is free and being presented as part of the City of St. Augustine’s Concerts in the Plaza series and will feature music by Lis & Lon Williamson with Rick Kuncicky before the screening.
“Any locals who were used as extras in the episode should come to the screening to be recognized,” Dumas told reporters.
The episode, “This is Going to Hurt Me More Than It Hurts You”, was filmed in St Augustine and the Hotel Ponce de Leon.
Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College is located at 14 Granada Street in St Augustine.
