Tax collector will be Republican Club speaker

When the Republican Club of Greater St Augustine holds its next meeting, Historic City News has learned that St Johns County Tax Collector, Dennis W. Hollingsworth, will be the guest speaker.

Hollingsworth, first employed by Tax Collector Winnie Hill in 1978, began his career as a field inspector and title clerk. In 1984, he was elected St Johns County Tax Collector and he has had the honor to serve in that office ever since.

Members and Republican guests are welcome to attend the meeting on Monday April 8, with a social beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the St Augustine Shrine Club located at 250 Brainard. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

Hollingsworth graduated from St Augustine High School and received his Associate of Arts degree from the St Johns River Community College. He pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stetson University, and earned a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University.
