Tax collector will offer drive-through service

St Johns County Tax Collector, Dennis W. Hollingsworth, C.F.C., issued a reminder to Historic City News readers that taxes become delinquent April 1, 2013; and, as a convenience to taxpayers who prefer to “drop off” their payment, curbside drive-through service will be offered at the main office.

This curbside service will be available to taxpayers on Thursday March 28, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and again on Friday March 29, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

“If you will be making your tax payment by check, cashier’s check or money order, you can avoid waiting in line at our drive through; located on the east side of our main office at 4030 Lewis Speedway in St Augustine,” Hollingsworth told Historic City News.

All tax collector offices will be open on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon and the main office will be open this Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
