Janet Leonard, owner of the Trade Winds Tropical Lounge has invited all Historic City News readers to participate tomorrow, Sunday November 24, for an evening of live music and entertainment featuring a charity auction to benefit St Augustine Youth Services; home for abused children.
The Trade Winds is located at 124 Charlotte Street in St Augustine. The music and fun starts at 1:00 p.m. and continues until Monday at 2:00 a.m. with a different musician or band every set and a live charity auction between sets.
“You never know what’s going to be auctioned off from year to year, but it is always a huge array of awesome deals; it’s a lot of fun, great music, drinks, and a chance to support a wonderful cause,” the evening’s host, Troy Locke, told local reporters. “Help bring a happy holiday season to a child in need.”
In the invitation received by Historic City News, this year’s auction will include hundreds of great items that have been donated from merchants all over the city. Auctions will be held for items that range from gift certificates to bars, restaurants and bed and breakfasts, to original artwork, clothing, and jewelry.
