COMMUNITY SERVICE: St. Augustine Beach Planning and Zoning, vice-chair

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE: I have been honored to serve St. Augustine Beach on its Planning and Zoning Board for five years. I have a total of 17 years experience in land use development, planning and zoning. As a vice president for large financial institutions, I have experience in project management, budgeting, human resources and risk management. My educational background consists of degrees in professional accounting, management information systems, and a law degree.

REASON FOR RUNNING: I wish to serve my community and actively engage with residents, local businesses, commissioners and city staff to ensure that renewed development and tourism activity is balanced with the desires of the community. I also wish to promote more collaboration and cooperation with the City of St. Augustine, the county and key agencies to address shared challenges.

GOALS FOR UPCOMING TERM IF ELECTED: Prioritize the recommendations from our vison plan and strategic plan and move forward with implementation of improvements for our residents. Actively engage with the City of St. Augustine, the county, and tourism council to develop a viable transportation plan which will benefit our residents and visitors alike.
