The St. Johns Democratic Party reported to Historic City News that invitations have been extended for an open meet-and-greet forum for candidates in the Primary and General Elections whose contests are non-partisan; such as Circuit Court Judge, Mosquito Control Board, Airport Authority, and City Commission.
On Friday, August 1, during the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., the public is invited to stop by the St Johns County Democratic Party Headquarters to meet and interact with many attending candidates.
“Two of the Democratic candidates in the General Election, Kathleen Trued, Florida Senate candidate, and David Cox, candidate for US House of Representatives, District 6, are expected to participate,” Democratic Executive Committee chairwoman, Nell Seymour Toensmann, told local reporters.
If you are planning to attend, light refreshments will be served at the Democratic headquarters, located in the rear of the building at 142B King Street in St. Augustine.
