FDOT road repairs and maintenance report

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Downtown St. Augustine

Complete closure of San Marco Avenue from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday from Old Mission Avenue to Cathedral Place for the St. Augustine Christmas Parade.

Brief traffic interruptions on King Street and complete closures of Cathedral Street and St. George Street between Cathedral Street and King Street from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday for the British Night Watch procession. Police will direct traffic.

San Marco Avenue

Daytime lane closures from U.S. 1 to State Road 16 for painting roadway markings.

State Road 13

Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday from Roberts Road to Race Track Road for inspecting drain pipes.

Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Race Track Road to the intersection at State Road 16 near Wards Creek for cleaning side drain pipes.

State Road 206

Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday from I-95 to the entrance to Pedro Menendez High School for shoulder repairs.

State Road A1A

Daytime lane closures from King Street to Mickler Road for painting roadway markings.

U.S. 1

Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday from Estrella Avenue to Big Oak Road for shoulder repairs.
