Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Downtown St. Augustine
Expect daytime road and lane closures from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the annual Easter Parade on Sunday. Police will direct traffic around road closures. The parade will begin at the Old Jail (167 San Marco Avenue), continue south on San Marco and Avenida Menendez, west on Cathedral Place, north on Cordova Street and end at Cordova and Orange Streets. Detoured traffic will be directed to US 1, King Street, W. Castillo Drive and Riberia Street.
Daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Cordova and King Streets adjacent to the Casa Monica hotel for painting the building. Also, daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on King and St. George Streets adjacent to the Lyon’s building for painting the building. Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Clay County line to San Marco Avenue.

Daytime northbound lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from Armstrong Road to St. Ambrose Church Road for shoulder repairs.
Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from I-95 to US-1 to edge along the sidewalks.
