First Sunday Community Picnic Brunch

Terry Buckenmeyer has invited Historic City News readers to attend on Sunday, September 7th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to a social gathering and community picnic in the Plaza de La Constitucion.

Come enjoy the people, the food and OUR Plaza.

“This will be an opportunity for the whole community to discuss what concerns us about our city and our world,” Buckenmeyer told Historic City News. “WE THE PEOPLE can figure it out.”

Any organization that would like to make literature or other information available to attendees is welcome to set up a table or contact us at PeoplesPicnicParty {at} gmail.com for approval prior to the event.

Political parties and organizations running or sponsoring candidates for political office are asked not to attend — although candidates are invited to attend as ordinary citizens.

Buckenmeyer says to bring whatever you can or want to share, but mostly just be there.
