Letter: Cook say he will continue to stay involved

Dear Editor and Historic City News readers:

This campaign has been an amazing process and I wanted to thank my wife Michelle, my daughters Mia and Piper, my neighbors and my supporters who had such faith and belief in the message of our campaign.

I would like to congratulate Jay Morris on his victory and Dan on his campaign. While we have had disagreements on policy during this campaign, I want to thank both of my opponents for keeping the race focused on policy rather than on personal attacks and I look forward to working with them as we address our challenges in the future.

I encourage everyone who supported me to continue to stay involved and work to keep St Johns County the amazing place it is. September 3rd, the 2015 Budget process continues and I hope to see you there.
