Historic City News will celebrate with the Wideman and Brown families in St Augustine when they each become owners of a new home this Saturday; house number four and five for Habitat for Humanity of St Augustine and St Johns County.
The homes are located nearby each other on Scheidel Way in St Augustine; off of Four Mile Road.
We’ve invited community and business leaders, the mayor and dignitaries from the City and County, as well as the Wideman’s and Brown’s new neighbors, to share in the celebration when we officially turn over the keys to these two grateful families,” Sara Tamling told local Historic City News reporters.
“The accomplishment of constructing these five homes is shared with Habitat’s construction team, who built the homes, and our generous community volunteers and donors; who, without their help, none of this would have been possible.”
The dedication ceremonies begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at #1015 Scheidel Way and then will be continuing next door to #1023 Scheidel Way.
