St Augustine Police spokesperson, Mark Samson, reports to Historic City News the recent arrests and criminal investigations undertaken by the St Augustine Police Department, as that information becomes available and can be reported to the public.

First, there is nothing new with the Arson Investigation; the team assigned continues to work the leads that have been developed since Monday.

Charges signed against Dorothea Caudill for Battery, this occurred at Nobby’s Sports Bar, The victim claims that the Caudill hit her on the side of her head. The victim was able to pick the suspect out of a photo line-up.

Donald Parnell, 56, homeless was arrested for drinking in public while he was in the downtown plaza.

Michael Sparks, 48 homeless was arrested for Battery. While he was at Dining with Dignity he punched another homeless man who was eating at the daily dinner that is served there.

Laurence Mattox, 42, homeless was arrested for drinking in public while in the downtown plaza.

Michael Casto, 35, of Palmetto Av. was arrested for disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest without violence.

Korhan Ahmet, 39 from Mandeville, La. Was arrested for disorderly intoxication for trying to fight one of the doormen at the White Lion and Resisting Arrest without Violence for running from the police.
