The group, St Augustine Galloway, reported to Historic City News that in order to help kick off their 8th annual running season, on July 19th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., US Olympic athlete, author, coach and inspiration to runners everywhere, Jeff Galloway has accepted an invitation to attend a free meet-and-greet event.
Galloway is in demand, making appearances in front of audiences over 200 times-a-year; helping those of all levels of ability to enjoy exercise until they are 100. His doable plans have opened up the life-changing experience of finishing a distance event to almost everyone. His methods have reduced aches, pains and injuries to almost zero.
“Jeff Galloway draws on 50-years of running marathons and we have invited him to talk to our group about his low stress, injury free method,” Carolyn Mudgette told local reporters. “For some Galloway followers, it’s about improving their time using his run/walk/run method; and, for others, it’s just about finishing and having fun while doing it.”
Mudgette said that Galoway is the race director for the 26.2 with Donna, and the training consultant for the Run Disney race series; inspiring inexperienced and veteran runners alike.
If you would like to attend this free of charge event, you can reach Carolyn Mudgette by e-mail at werunstaugustine@gmail.com, or, on their website, www.staugustinegalloway.com or by calling 904-540-7004. The 8th annual running season kick-off is being held at the Royal St Augustine Clubhouse, located at 301 Royal St Augustine Parkway in St Augustine.
