Historic City News readers are invited to attend when chairman of the St Augustine Visioning Project steering committee, City Commissioner Roxanne Horvath, convenes their initial public workshop on Saturday, April 5th.
The committee held an organizational meeting in January, but this is the first meeting with the group’s facilitator, Herb Marlowe, whose firm, Analytica, was selected for the project.
The steering committee is comprised of appointments made by the city commission, each commissioner appointing three people drawing from among the city’s residential, business and institutional communities.
If you plan to attend, the workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. The three-hour meeting will be held in the Alcazar Room on the ground floor of City Hall, located at 75 King Street in St Augustine, and is open to the public.
Those wishing additional information on the city’s current visioning initiative, including agendas and minutes of the commission’s workshops on the topic, access to the city’s last visioning project in 1995, and a variety of related studies and strategic plans, should visit www.visionstaug.com. To receive information on the progress of the initiative, email vision@citystaug.com with “Vision” in the subject line.
