St. Johns CARES reported to Historic City News that Sunday, March 29th, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. is the 7th Annual “Dog Day Afternoon” benefitting Ayla’s Acres.
The fundraiser will host dogs and their owners as they enjoy the popular canine obstacle course, dog washes, “pet-i-cures” (nail trims), pet adoptions, photographs and special demonstrations as well as low cost micro-chipping and vaccines from Julington Creek Animal Hospital.
Human friends will enjoy food, baked goods, pet-specialty vendors and a bounce house. This popular event draws guests from as far as Georgia and Daytona.
If you would like to attend, the event takes place at 875 Davis Pond Boulevard in St Johns.
This year Ayla’s Acres, a no-kill animal rescue in St. Johns County, will be the recipient of proceeds generated from Dog Day Afternoon. This event brings awareness to the needs of animal rescues in St. Johns County.
