Celebrate pirate film classic this Saturday
On Saturday, April 11th, Historic City News readers can enjoy a series of free events courtesy of the St Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum when they celebrate the 80th anniversary of the pirate film classic Captain Blood – starring Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland.
The event will have activities to entertain all ages with an Errol Flynn look-alike contest, sword fighting demonstrations, music, pirates galore and of course a screening of Captain Blood in the Colonial Quarter outdoor theater.
Pirate and Treasure Museum Founder Pat Croce will also be on hand to sign the latest in his trilogy of books about notable swashbucklers Henry Morgan, The Buccaneer.
