300-FL-HOUSE-17-CANDIDATESThe St Augustine Beach Civic Association has invited Historic City News editor Michael Gold to moderate a live forum Tuesday evening that will introduce the Republican candidates for Florida House of Representatives District 17.

The Republican Special Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, January 27th with early voting taking place January 17th through January 24th.

“We have received confirmation of attendance from all three candidates, Mike Davis, Cyndi Stevenson and John Capra,” Civic Association president Bill Jones reported. “We want this forum to be informative and to motivate voters to go to the polls.”

The Civic Association will hold its regular monthly member meeting at a special time of 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the St Augustine Beach City Hall, located at 2300 A1A South.

The forum will be televised live; airing at 7:30 p.m. on local cable, and then re-broadcast several times next week and during early voting. The public is invited to attend the forum and to submit questions for the candidates.
