REAL ESTATE… The Department of Professional and Business Regulation will meet to examine the syllabus for brokerage license tests 9:30 a.m. in Orlando.

CABINET MEETING… The Cabinet and the governor meet 9 a.m. Tuesday. The agenda includes Legislative Budget Requests from several state agencies.
ENERGY… The Public Service Commission will be holding an “informal” meeting with utilities and stakeholders to go over recent petitions for fuel cost recovery. The meeting begins 9:30 a.m. in Tallahassee. More information can be found here.
UNDERPERFORMING SCHOOLS… The Florida Department of Education holds a workshop on Florida’s support of underperforming schools and districts 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Highlands County School Board office in Sebring. More information can be found here.
WILDLIFE… The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will be considering changes to captive wildlife regulations that may affect zoos, farms and private collectors/sellers. The meeting is open to the public and begins 4 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Palm Beach Gardens. The commission will also meet in Miami Wednesday, January 14.

EDUCATION BOARD… The State Board of Education meets 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sebring. On the agenda is an update on the Digital Classroom Plans or district purchasing plans for technology like computers and tablets. More information can be found here.
WATER QUALITY… The Department of Environmental Protection will continue public talks on proposed revisions to Water Quality Credit Trading rules. The meeting begins 9 a.m. at DEP’s central district office in Orlando.
PUBLIC EMPLOYEES… Florida’s Self-Insurance Estimating Conference discusses State Employees’ Health Insurance 10 a.m. Wednesday in room 117 of the Knott building.
FLAIR… The Department of Financial Services is inviting prospective vendors to participate in a discussion planning for the replacement of FLAIR and CMS. A conference call option is also available. The meeting will take place between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in room 412 of the Knott building in Tallahassee.

WATER… The Soil and Water Conservation Council announced a public meeting to discuss revisions to certain regulations will take place at the Office of Agricultural Water Policy’s Elliott Building in Tallahassee from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

CIVIL JUSTICE…The Florida Commission on Access to Civil Justice will hold its first meeting from12:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in room 412 of the Knott building. The commission was formed at the behest of Florida Supreme Court Justice Jorge Labarga to explore way to expand access to civil courts for low income individuals.
LEGISLATIVE IMPACT… The Office of Economic and Demographic Research hosts a conference on the impact of legislation 1 p.m. Friday in room 117 of the Knott building. A list of bills is still pending.
i BUDGETS… The Agency for Persons with Disabilities is holding a meeting inviting comment from stakeholders, disabled people and their families on the iBudget waiver waiting list and algorithm. The meeting is set to take place between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Agency for Persons with Disabilities in Tallahassee.
