Historic City News has learned that a man wearing a black and grey camouflage hoodie jacket, grey plaid shorts, and black sneakers, recently used a stolen credit card to purchase a $500 gift card from a discount department store, and police are hoping you can help identify the culprit.
According to reports, the victim was unaware of the theft of two credit cards from her wallet until one of the stolen credit cards was used that day.
Sheriff’s spokesman, Kevin Kelshaw, reported that, shortly before 12:00 noon on March 5th, the unidentified man used the victim’s stolen credit card to purchase a $500 gift card from the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on north SR-13.
The man was described as a light skinned male with a goatee wearing a white baseball hat with the University of North Carolina Tar heels light blue NC on the hat.
