The family of 30-year-old Robin Wetherington, the victim of a hit-and-run, truck-vs-pedestrian collision in November, is holding a fundraising motorcycle run this Saturday, February 7th.
If you would like to participate in the ride, registration is $10 per person at Bar None Saloon on Anastasia Boulevard starting at 10:00 a.m., kick stands up at 11:30 a.m.
No motorcycle is required for the fundraiser starting at 3:00 p.m. at Gigglin’ Gator on King Street in St Augustine.
There will be raffles, a 50/50 drawing, food, t-shirts, music and lots of great people to support Robin and her family.
At about 4:30 p.m., if Robin, who lives in St Augustine, is able to attend, her mother says that she will bring her for a short visit to congratulate the raffle winners at Gigglin’ Gator.
Robin sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash when she was struck by a 2006 Blue Dodge pickup truck in the parking lot of Krystal on US-1 South. She was transported by air ambulance to UF Health in Jacksonville in critical condition.
