City Manager John Regan, explaining the actions of three commissioners who object to the demands of more than 20 people who spoke in support of an audit of 450th Commemoration contracts at a March public meeting:
“They see it as an indictment of the 450th, and that’s not what it is,” he said.
The city manager went on to say his goal is to take control of the discussion on contract reviews.
