Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to a mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
State Road 16
Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Lewis Speedway to Collins Avenue for replacing electric poles.
State Road 312
Daytime lane closure Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon over the Matanzas River for routine bridge maintenance.
U.S. 1
Daytime lane closure Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Cross Ridge Drive to the Nocatee Parkway on-ramp to install turn lanes for a new business.
I-95
Daytime shoulder closures Saturday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from County Road 210 to U.S.1 for work on the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).
I-95 from County Road 210 to Old St. Augustine Road
Nighttime northbound lane closures Wednesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and
nighttime northbound road closure from midnight to 5 a.m. to install overhead structures and signs for State Road 9B. Detour is County Road 210, Philips Highway, Old St. Augustine Road to I-95 northbound.
