Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A South
Nighttime lane closures Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from A Street to 11th Street to install electric poles.
A1A – Vilano Beach to Ponte Vedra Beach
Nighttime moving lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Carcaba Road in Vilano Beach to Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra Beach to install rumble stripes on the center and shoulder lines.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to a mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
I-95
Nighttime southbound and northbound lane closures Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. and a detour Thursday from midnight to 5 a.m. from Old St. Augustine Road to County Road 210. Detour is County Road 210, U.S. 1 and Old St. Augustine Road. Asphalt will be placed and a temporary barrier wall will be removed for the State Road 9B project.
State Road 16
Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. two miles west of I-95 to install a turn lane for a new subdivision.
State Road 207
Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Old Dixie Highway to State Road 312 to trim brush from sidewalks.
U.S. 1/Ponce de Leon Boulevard and A1A/San Marco Avenue
Daytime road closures Friday (April 22) from 4 to 5 p.m. from Lewis Speedway to Orange Street for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.
U.S. 1/Ponce de Leon Boulevard
Daytime lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. from King Street to Clark Street for pothole repairs.
