Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A North
Nighttime moving lane closures Wednesday through June 21 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. from the Duval County line to the end of the four-lane section for RPM (Raised Pavement Marking) replacements.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to one mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
I-95 – from the St. Johns County Rest Area to south of Old St. Augustine Road
Nighttime northbound lane closures Sunday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for State Road 9B striping and uncovering of overhead signs for the opening of northbound State Road 9B; and nighttime northbound and southbound lane closures Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for striping.
I-95
Nighttime moving lane closures Wednesday through June 21 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. from International Golf Parkway to State Road 207 for RPM (Raised Pavement Marking) replacements.
Race Track Road at Bartram Park Boulevard
Daytime lane closures Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. a ½ mile east of Bartram Park Boulevard to walk construction equipment across the road for the State Road 9B Phase 3 project.
State Road 207
Lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction over Deep Creek Bridge for bridge work as part of the State Road 207 resurfacing and improvement project. Lane reductions on the bridge will be in effect for the next several months.
State Road 207 at Dobbs Road Cutoff
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for median modification work.
State Road 312 – Matanzas River Bridge
Nighttime westbound lane closures Sunday through Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
U.S. 1 – south of Watson Road
Daytime southbound lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for construction of a turn lane for the new Dollar General.
U.S. 1 South
Nighttime moving lane closures Wednesday through June 21 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. from State Road 16 to the Flagler County line for RPM (Raised Pavement Marking) replacements.
