FDOT road repairs and maintenance report

Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

A1A – Avenida Menendez & Bridge of Lions
Nighttime bridge and road closure Monday from 9:30 to 10 p.m. for Independence Day fireworks.

A1A South
Daytime lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Old Quarry Road to State Road 312 to clean drain curb inlets.

County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to one mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.

I-95 – 1.5 miles south of U.S. 1 to U.S. 1
Daytime northbound lane closures Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and nighttime northbound and southbound lane closures Wednesday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. to install Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) poles.

I-95 – from the St. Johns County Rest Area to south of Old St. Augustine Road
Nighttime northbound and southbound lane closures Tuesday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for various closeout operations of the State Road 9B project.

State Road 16 – west of Lewis Speedway
Daytime westbound lane closures Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for electric pole maintenance work.

State Road 16 at Inman Road/Harvest Lane
Daytime eastbound lane closure Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for intersection improvements.

State Road 207
Lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction over Deep Creek Bridge for bridge work as part of the State Road 207 resurfacing and improvement project. Lane reductions on the bridge will be in effect for the next several months.

U.S 1 at Bartola Genovar Road
Nighttime intermittent lane and road closures Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for traffic signal upgrades.

U.S. 1 – south of Watson Road
Daytime southbound and northbound intermittent lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for construction of a turn lane for the new Dollar General.

U.S. 1 – Nocatee Parkway Ramp
Daytime lane closures Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine bridge inspection.a
