Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A – Vilano Bridge
Daytime southbound shoulder closure Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
Countywide
Lane closures from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Thursday at various intersections throughout St. Johns County for roadway line painting.
County Road 2209/St. Johns Parkway
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to Arabella Way for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions are in place for the duration of the project.
I-95
Nighttime northbound and southbound lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from International Golf Parkway to the Duval County line for asphalt work.
King Street – St. Augustine
Nighttime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from U.S. 1 to Malaga Street for electric pole installation.
State Road 13
Daytime northbound lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Race Track Road to the Julington Creek bridge for drainage pipe video inspection.
State Road 16
Daytime westbound lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from U.S. 1 to Collins Avenue and U.S. 1 northbound left turn lane onto westbound State Road 16, and nighttime southbound lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from U.S. 1 to West Castillo Drive for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation.
State Road 207 – Hastings
Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for turn lane widening and sidewalk replacement. In addition, lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction over Deep Creek Bridge for bridge work. Lane reductions on the bridge will be in place for several months.
