Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.< strong>
A1A at A Street
Nighttime northbound lane closure Monday from 8 p.m. to Tuesday at 6 a.m. for electric pole installation.
A1A – Anastasia Boulevard
Daytime road and lane closures with detour Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. from the St. Augustine Lighthouse to A1A Beach Boulevard for the Divas Half Marathon and 5K.
A1A – Downtown St. Augustine
Daytime road closures with detour Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on San Marco Avenue, Castillo Drive, Avenida Menendez, Cathedral Place and Cordova Street for the St. Augustine Christmas Parade.
Countywide
Partial lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. & 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Friday at various intersections throughout St Johns County for roadway line painting.
CR-2209 St. Johns Parkway
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to Arabella Way for SR-9B construction. Lane reductions are in place for the duration of the project.
SR-16
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from U.S. 1 from Lewis Speedway to U.S. 1 for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation.
SR-207 Hastings
Intermittent daytime lane closures weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for turn lane construction and widening. In addition, lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction over Deep Creek Bridge for bridge work. Lane reductions on the bridge will be in place until early 2017.
