Law enforcement called to control incident at Youth Academy

Law enforcement was dispatched Saturday to Saint Johns Youth Academy in responce to a call from the Department of Juvenile Justice reporting an incident inside the detention facility with capacity for 70 high-risk male residents ages 14-18.

The Supreme Court ruled today that states can collect state sales taxes from online retailers on consumer purchases. The decision overruled a decades-old precedent that had protected out-of-state sellers from being required to collect such taxes.

Less than two weeks after activist investor Starboard Value announced it purchased almost 10 percent of Jacksonville based Web.com Group Inc. (Nasdaq: WEB) the company reported to Historic City News this morning that they have agreed to be acquired by Siris Capital Group LLC.
