According to an item in The St Augustine Report, Historic City News has learned that a mobile vendor recently lost his zoning appeal.
Jasper Green had a room full of supporters in his bid for rezoning to allow a mobile food vending service at 46 Masters Drive, but commissioners, almost apologetically, turned him down.
Among their concerns, the necessary zoning change to more intense commercial could set a precedent and would allow a variety of businesses now prohibited, and the location would not provide for patrons to pull off the narrow street.
