Sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Monday, a resident of the apartments located on Whispering Circle reported that two of his vehicles were burglarized, according to an incident report filed by Deputy Jared Monie on yesterday.
Both a 1990 JEEP Wrangler and 2002 Chrysler convertible sedan owned by the victim had been slashed into and the contents strewn about the front seat. Although it was apparent that the vehicle glove compartments had been rummaged through, the owner could not determine that anything of value was missing.
About $200.00 in damage was estimated to the vehicles.
The victim indicated to Deputy Monie that he spoke with some neighbors who told him nothing suspicious had been observed; nor did it appear that any other vehicles had been entered.
