Patti Henderson invited Historic City News readers to “stop by the St. Augustine Tea Party booth and say hello” during this weekend’s Salute to Veterans Air Show at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine.
This family-fun event will feature performances by wing-walkers, bi-plane stunts, flying comedy acts and precision aerobatic teams, as well as an all-women’s parachute team, a fire-breathing monster called Robosaurus, an airplane versus jet engine powered truck race and tactical demonstrations by a U.S. Air Force F-16.
Tickets will be $10 per day for adults and $5 for children over age 5. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Naval Special Warfare Foundation and United Way of St. Johns County.
