Guest Speaker: “Voice of the Dolphins” with Hardy Jones
Saturday, October 8 @ 2 pm – In The Voice of the Dolphins, award-winning filmmaker, Hardy Jones describes three decades of work with dolphins. In 1978, Jones decided to produce a film documenting dolphins in their natural habitat, a feat considered impossible by marine experts. With a small crew, Jones worked with an unusually friendly school of dolphins in the Bahamas to create his first film Dolphin. Jones has since made several films for PBS, National Geographic, Discovery, and co-
founded Bluevoice.org to protect dolphins and whales. Join us for a riveting presentation by Hardy Jones, featuring clips from some of his documentaries.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants Presents: “Fall Flowers”
Saturday, October 15 @ 2 pm – The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants – members of the Garden Club of St. Augustine – are coming to your library to show you how to use food and flowers to spruce up your home for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or simply give it an “Autumn” touch! Raffle tickets are available for purchase to win the arrangements the Sisterhood create! Proceeds help sponsor this event. All materials are generously provided by the Friends of the Library.
