Sheriff needs help locating fugitive
St Johns County Sheriff David B. Shoar has asked Historic City News readers for their help in locating a 30-year-old St Johns County man who is a fugitive from justice; named in two separate warrants.
Robert Leon Horsley Jr., who was last known to be living in a trailer located on a lot at 6473 San Pietro Isle in St Augustine, is believed to be involved in the manufacture of methamphetamine and is a person of interest in an ongoing meth lab investigation.
There is no bond allowed on the outstanding warrant alleging violation of probation on a previous arrest for simple battery. The second warrant for Horsley’s arrest alleges child neglect and carries a $25,000 bond.
Horsley was reported to have kept his minor children in the same location where he allegedly cooked methamphetamine.
Horsley is described as a white male, 5’11” tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of this fugitive is asked to contact the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office at (904) 824-8304. Do not approach or alert this criminal to the fact that he has been recognized.
