Historic City News received word that at 10:42, deputies were dispatched to the Johns Creek branch of Well’s Fargo Bank located at 2841 CR-210 West in St Johns, where a robbery had just occurred.
The suspect displayed a note to bank employees; however, it was not reported if a firearm or other weapon was involved, according to information provided by SJSO Corporal Catherine Payne.
Witnesses describe the man who robbed the bank as a white male, approximately 5’07, with short blonde hair. While he was standing at the teller line, his image was captured by surveillance video.
Bank officials said the robber was able to flee the area with an undisclosed amount of money.
