Beverly Jane Dobbs

Beverly J. Dobbs, 86, of St. Augustine, passed away on April 11th, at Flagler Hospital.

Beverly was born in Mound City, S.D. and had resided in St. Augustine since 1951, moving to St. Augustine from Mobridge, S.D.

Beverly was co-owner of Dobbs Bros Library Binding Company in St. Augustine for many years before her retirement in 1980.

A funeral Mass will be held 9:00 AM Friday, April 16th, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Rev. William C. Mooney officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Augustine Memorial Park.

Beverly was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church where she had served as a member of the Altar Guild for many years.

Beverly was also a member of the Republican Club of St. Augustine and the Right to Life Association.

Beverly is survived by her son, David Dobbs and his wife, Peggy, of St. Augustine as well as her grand children, Reid Bartlam, Jennifer Alaimo, Lindsay Lavercombe, Davis Dobbs.

She is also survived by her step daughter Maureen Holden and husband Denny and their three children and seven grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Dobbs and daughter Mary Bartlam.

St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Corpus Christi Parish Building Fund, C/O Father William Mooney, Box 3064 Datil Pepper Road.
